PLEASE NOTE THAT THE ACADEMY WILL NOT BE RUNNING FOR THE FORTHCOMING SEASON 2011-12.

Instead if you are a member of Sevenoaks Hockey club, special provision is being made for elite junior player development by inviting selected players to attend special training sessions with the Mens & Ladies senior team coaches. If you would like further details of this and feel you might be up to it please contact Jacqui Hudson who is the coordinator and Chairman of the Junior section. Please note that almost everyone - boys or girls who were in the Academy last year would be eligible for consideration so do contact Jacqui - don't wait to be contacted by your junior coach or the club!
Alternatively, and especially for those who are NOT members of Sevenoaks Hockey club, you may be aware that Tonbridge School are setting up a new Academy with Kevin Johnson as head coach. Kevin as you will know was the Academy Head Coach last season.
I understand that the new Academy will be run on similar lines to last season with emphasis on skills development. There will be a similar charge for coaching there will be 2 sessions at different times for boys & girls on Monday evenings. If you are interested in joining this new Academy I would suggest you talk to your club first as Clubs are being asked to nominate players. Sevenoaks players should note that you too can apply to join the Tonbridge Academy but please be aware of the club's separate arrangements as detailed above and don't take on too much hockey in one week. Remember school work is more important!
