Sport Scholarships at 11+, 13+ and 16+

 Sevenoaks School offers a wealth of sporting activities and seeks to promote a positive, lifelong approach to sport and leisure through the provision of a wide choice of activities and the development of excellence. Sevenoaks students play a variety of sports at international, divisional and county level at all age groups, and several have gone on to represent their country after leaving school.

Sport scholarships are offered annually and are open to boys and girls from any school. We are looking for pupils who meet the normal academic requirements of the school but who also demonstrate outstanding sporting ability, potential, determination and enthusiasm. Successful candidates are likely to be of county standard or above and to have exceptional talent in at least two sports. Scholars will be expected to be good ambassadors and to demonstrate a willingness to contribute fully to the sporting and general life of the school.

 Sport Scholarships are worth 10% of the day fee. Any scholarship may be supplemented additionally by bursarial support, subject to means-testing, to 100% of the day fee. A sport scholarship worth up to 100% of the day fee, following means-testing, is available on entry at 11+ for pupils who have attended a maintained primary school.  

 In addition, the Findlay Sixth Form Sport Scholarship is available for a local pupil from a maintained school, and is worth at least 50% and up to 100% of the day fee.
